(Excuse the fuzzy pic- my camera battery died and I had to use my cell phone)Tuesday was Allie's first day of Second Grade! She was sooo excited to organize all of her school supplies in the new bookbag Aunt C got her (wonder where she got that from)! I was wondering how she would do waking up at 6:30am after a summer of sleeping in... but she was so excited she jumped right out of bed. So far so good (we'll see how long it lasts). Although we will miss long weekends at the lake, and afternoons at the pool, the routine will be nice. Back to healthy dinners and breakfasts and no night time tv... which was a very hard thing for her to give up. She is enjoying reading in the evenings instead though, and it is so cute to see her curl up in her bed with a book... so grown up!
