Memorial Day

We had a wonderful weekend relaxing at the lake with the Perez family. Great food, great weather, and great company!

Continued Continued Birthday Celebrations!

Belated post... but better late than never, right? My 27th started out with a wonderful lunch date at the Bistro with the Perez girls. Then we went back to our house for play time for Caroline and Allie, and cuddle time for Maggie and I. Thank you again Mollie for ALL the birthday sussies! :) The birthday continued with a very nice Ruth's Chris dinner with my parents. I really cannot think of a better way to spend my birthday.

Maggie's Meet & Greet

I LOVE parties. Especially when champagne is involved... and babies... and candy... and lots of pink! Allie and I had so much fun picking out all the girly party things- pink treats for the candy bar, pink napkins, pink flowers, and pink decorations. And I really loved pulling out my china to use for the first time, and my grandmother's crystal and sterling. Even though it really wasn't a shower, Maggie did get lots of new cute little things. Who can resist buying those little tiny dresses?!

Maggie is THE sweetest little baby... she is getting bigger, but still so tiny. And her eyes have stayed so blue! Poor Mollie gets harassed by me wanting to see Maggie everyday... I just can't get enough.

Little Maggie Perez is here!!!

And she is SO precious! She is the tiniest little thing, and so sweet natured. It is so cute to hear Caroline's sweet little voice call her "Little Sister". I guess I better let her Mama be the first to post pictures of her new little one... I'm sure this blog will be full of her pics in the future!

However, I will let you see the Stork that we made to announce her arrival. Yes, Ryan and I actually made it... as in we went to Lowe's and bought the wood, drew it, sanded it, primed it, painted it, and made the stand. My poor new hubby didn't know what he was getting himself into:). But lucky for me he is very artistic and totally humors all of my little projects! He was such a good sport and we realized we really made a good team! Thinking of renting it out as a little side-business, so if you know anyone who needs a stork...
